The GlenAllachie Single Cask 1989 29 Year Old

This is a single cask GlenAllachie from Speyside, distilled in 1989 and bottled after 29 years of maturation. It comes from the distillery's range of single cask bottlings and shows its deep, sherried house character. It was bottled at natural cask strength, without chill-filtering and with no colour added. The nose offers dark fruit, tobacco, burnt sugar and old leather, with spice and a full sherry sweetness. On the palate dried fruit, walnut, cinnamon, espresso and dark chocolate sit together, and the finish is long, with warm spices and a trace of oak.
