This is The GlenAllachie Sinteis Part II, a 2015 Speyside single malt bottled at a cask strength of 58.2% in a 70cl bottle. It is natural colour and non-chill filtered.
Sinteis is Gaelic for 'synthesis', and the series pairs two woods. Here single malt matured in Oloroso sherry casks is married with spirit from Scottish virgin oak barrels.
The nose offers mocha, grilled honeycomb and sun-dried red berries, with cinnamon butter and toasted lemon peel. On the palate are heather honey, citrus and warmed baking spices, and the finish brings mocha and vanilla buttercream.
