The GlenAllachie Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky 9 Year Old Rye Wood Finish

This is a nine-year-old Speyside single malt from GlenAllachie, golden in colour. It was matured first in American oak casks, then finished in Kentucky rye casks. The different levels of toasting in those casks, together with the rye ageing, add a rich, spicy touch to the GlenAllachie style. The nose offers cinnamon, nuts, honey, syrup and orange zest. On the palate come steamed herbs, honey, caramel, orange, cloves and syrup.
