This is an 18 year old Highland single malt from The GlenDronach, named after James Allardice, the distillery's founder. It is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle, non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
The whisky was matured in Spanish Oloroso sherry casks.
The nose is sweet, with fudge, Muscovado sugar, fruit compote and morello cherries. The palate brings stewed fruits, allspice, Oloroso sherry, toasted walnut bread and chocolate orange, followed by a long finish.
