The GlenDronach 1994 Single Cask #1769 28 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky (70cl, 55.5%)

This is a single cask GlenDronach, distilled on 25 February 1994 and bottled in 2023 after 28 years in an Oloroso sherry puncheon. It comes from cask 1769, which gave 692 bottles at 55.5% ABV, here in a 70cl bottle. The colour is a deep walnut brown. It is one of the casks Master Distiller Billy Walker selects each year for the distillery's Limited Release series. The nose has raisins, cinnamon and crème caramel. On the palate there are more raisins, with muscatels, walnuts, rich sherry, and Christmas spice of cinnamon and cloves.
