This is a 30-year-old Highland single malt from The GlenDronach, part of the distillery's 2025 range alongside the 21- and 40-year-old expressions. A total of 5,000 bottles have been released.
It is matured in Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, with a portion of Amontillado sherry casks added. This is the first time The GlenDronach has used that cask type for a single malt.
The nose offers morello cherry, raisin and Brazil-nut toffee, with marzipan and medjool date caramel. The palate is silky, with glazed cherry, sultana cake, cinnamon raisin-nut toffee and chocolate-hazelnut coffee cream. The finish is long and warmly sherried.
