The GlenDronach 40 Year Old is a Highland single malt and the most mature expression in the distillery's core collection. It is bottled at 43.9% in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky spent four decades in Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks from Jerez, aged in traditional dunnage warehouses. Master Blender Rachel Barrie hand-selected the casks.
Dark fruit and patisserie aromas open the nose. The palate offers compote and chocolate with finely integrated spice.
