The GlenDronach Original 12 Year Old is a Highland single malt matured for at least 12 years in a combination of Spanish Pedro Ximenez and Oloroso sherry casks. It is bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle, non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
The nose is sweet and creamy, with vanilla, ginger, spiced mulled wine and pear. The palate is rich and silky, with oak, sherry sweetness, raisins and soft fruits. The finish is long, full and firm, slightly nutty.
