The GlenDronach – Original 12 Year Old (70cl, 43%)

The GlenDronach Original is a 12 year old Highland single malt, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle and of natural colour. It is matured in a combination of Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks from Spain, which gives a sweet, creamy and richly sherried whisky with a rich amber-red gold colour. The nose combines sherried autumn fruits with chocolate praline, gingerbread and sun-dried raisin. On the palate, caramelised bramble, orange and sultana come with warming spice.
