The GlenDronach Parliament is a 21 year old single malt Scotch whisky matured in sherry casks, bottled at 48% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
It is deep amber in colour, with a cherry wood sheen.
The nose combines blackberries, red plums, Oloroso sherry and candied orange, with spiced oatmeal biscuits and toasted oak. On the palate, Oloroso and bitter chocolate sauce recall plum pudding, with cinnamon, allspice and nutmeg. It is full-bodied with smooth tannins, and the finish is long and lingering.
