The GlenDronach Parliament is a 21 year old Highland single malt in a 70cl bottle.
It is matured entirely in Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, in keeping with the distillery's focus on sherry maturation.
The nose brings ripe plum and fig with candied orange peel, dark chocolate and roasted coffee beans. The palate is rich and full-bodied, with stewed fruit, black cherry, sultana, ginger, cinnamon and a hint of tobacco leaf, over Oloroso nuttiness and Pedro Ximénez sweetness. The finish is very long, with dark cocoa, spiced oak and a dry sherry note.
