The Macallan 007: A Diamond of a Release is a limited-edition single malt Scotch whisky made to mark sixty years of the James Bond films. It is an official James Bond 60th anniversary release, bottled at 43.7% in a 70cl bottle.
It was matured in European oak sherry-seasoned casks, with dried fruit, warm spice, citrus peel and polished oak at the centre of its character.
The nose offers dried fruits, orange zest, vanilla and gentle oak spice. On the palate come raisins, dark chocolate, cinnamon, honeyed citrus and toasted oak. The finish is long and smooth, with lingering sherry sweetness and warming spice.
