The Macallan 12 Year Old Sherry Oak is a Highland single malt in the distillery's Sherry Oak range, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. The Macallan was founded in 1824 and was among the first Scottish distilleries to be legally licensed.
The whisky is matured exclusively in hand-picked, sherry-seasoned oak casks from Jerez, and its rich gold colour is natural.
It is described as showing rich wood spice and dried fruits.
