This is a limited edition Macallan, a 12 year old Speyside single malt matured in a sherry oak cask and bottled at 43%. It comes in a large 1.75 litre bottle.
The Macallan distillery stands at Easter Elchies, Craigellachie, and is owned by the Edrington Group. Its founder, Alexander Reid, received the distilling licence in 1824.
