The Macallan Sherry Oak 12 Years Old is a single malt Scotch whisky in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 40% ABV. It belongs to the Sherry Oak range, matured exclusively in hand-picked, sherry-seasoned oak casks from Jerez. It has a natural gold colour and delivers wood spice and dried fruit.
The nose combines dried fruit, candied citrus peel and oak with ginger and nutmeg. The palate has raisins and sultanas with ginger syrup, a touch of sweet cinnamon and a hint of vanilla. The finish is long, with oak and warming ginger.
