The Macallan 12 Year Old Triple Cask Matured is a Speyside single malt from the Fine Oak series, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle.
It is matured in three kinds of oak: European oak sherry casks, American oak sherry casks and American ex-bourbon oak casks. This combination is the basis of the softer Macallan Fine Oak style, balancing fruity and wood-aged notes with the gentler influence of American oak. The whisky is of natural colour.
