The Macallan 12 Year Old Triple Cask Matured is a Speyside single malt introduced in 2018 as the successor to the Fine Oak range. It was discontinued in 2024.
The whisky was matured for 12 years in a combination of European oak sherry-seasoned casks, American oak sherry-seasoned casks and American ex-bourbon casks.
It is usually described as light yet complex, with bright citrus and orchard fruits, smooth vanilla, subtle oak and delicate warming spice, ending in a clean, elegant finish.
