The Macallan 12 Years Old Sherry Oak is a Highland single malt matured in sherry oak, in a 70cl bottle at 40% ABV.
It has a rich gold colour.
The nose combines vanilla with a hint of ginger, dried fruits, sherry sweetness and wood smoke. On the palate it is smooth, with rich dried fruits and sherry balanced by wood smoke and spice. The finish is sweet toffee and dried fruits, again with wood smoke and spice.
