This is a 17 year old single malt from The Macallan's Fine Oak range, introduced in 2006 and bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle.
It is matured in three types of cask: European oak seasoned with sherry, American oak seasoned with sherry, and American oak seasoned with bourbon. The golden colour is natural, coming entirely from the spirit and the wood.
