This is The Macallan 17 Years Old from the Fine Oak range, a single malt bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It was introduced in 2006.
The whisky is triple cask matured, using European oak casks seasoned with sherry, American oak casks seasoned with sherry and American oak casks seasoned with bourbon. Its golden colour is natural and comes entirely from the spirit and the wood.
