The Macallan 18 Year Old Double Cask is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky, bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle. This is the 2025 release of an expression that is released every year.
It is matured in a combination of European and American oak casks, both seasoned with sherry in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain. Each cask spent its whole maturation, almost two decades, in sherry-seasoned oak, which gives the whisky a sweeter character.
