The Macallan 18 Years Old Double Cask is the 2025 release of an expression issued each year. It is a Speyside single malt, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle.
It is matured in a combination of European and American oak casks, seasoned with sherry in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain. Each cask used spent its whole maturation, almost two decades, in sherry seasoned oak, which gives the whisky a sweeter character.
