Amber is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky from The Macallan's 1824 Series.
The nose is soft and aromatic, with vanilla, lemon and barley, hints of ginger, milk chocolate buttons and raisins. The palate is thicker and fruitier than the nose suggests, with golden sultanas, dates, apple peelings and a dusting of cinnamon, then cereal notes and mince pies with crumbly shortbread.
The finish is fragrant and oaky, with the mince pie notes lingering.
