This is a 19 year old Macallan from the Speymalt range, selected by independent bottler Gordon & MacPhail. It was distilled in 2005, matured in a hogshead and bottled in 2024 at 56.5%, with 343 bottles in the outturn.
The nose is floral and candied, with lilac, lemon and orange, later turning malty and spicy with ginger and cinnamon. The palate brings banana, pineapple and old Sauternes, with cardamom and sandalwood. The finish is long and silky, with licorice, a little cigar smoke and a floral note of dandelion.

Floral with white lilac and lily of the valley, candied lemon and orange, hay; later malty and spicy with ginger, cinnamon and rice pudding
Banana and pineapple, old Sauternes, cardamom, sandalwood and incense; grainy mouthfeel
