A single cask Macallan from a refill sherry butt, distilled in 1989 and bottled in 2019 at 30 years old by Malts of Scotland. It comes from cask 19005, was bottled at 49.8% ABV in a 70cl bottle, and yielded 234 bottles.
The nose is fruity and sweet, with spicy old sherry, orange and mandarin, a little sultana and light oak and leather. The palate is soft and oily, turning dry, with oak, leather, dark chocolate, coffee and vanilla. The finish is very long and oily, with dark honey, dark forest fruit, chocolate and coffee crema.
