This is a 20 year old single cask single malt from Macallan, distilled on 26th January 1989 and bottled on 17th July 2009 at 43% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. It carries the name 'The Original Staggering Stuff'.
The nose is rich, with dried figs and raisins, Seville orange marmalade, sherry sweetness and aged oak. The palate is full-bodied and smooth, with treacle, dried cherries and spicy fruit compote, nutty sherry undertones and a touch of dark chocolate. The finish is long, with spiced oak, sweet fruit and a hint of smokiness.
