A Night On Earth In Jerez is a limited edition single malt from The Macallan, released in 2024. It celebrates New Year's Eve in Jerez de la Frontera, the heart of Sherry production, and the whisky was aged in Sherry-seasoned oak casks sourced from Jerez. The edition is a collaboration with María Melero, an artist born in the town, whose festive designs capture the celebrations there.
On the nose there are honey-soaked pestiños, raisins, cinnamon, anise and oak, with bright citrus. The palate brings sweet pastry, white grapes, honey-glazed almonds and vanilla, with gentle spice and a hint of fresh rosemary. The finish is warming and sweet.
