The Macallan – A Night on Earth in Scotland (70cl, 43%)

A Night on Earth in Scotland is a limited edition single malt from The Macallan, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. This seasonal release tells the story of Hogmanay, the Scottish New Year celebrations held on 31st December. It is a collaboration with the Japanese-French illustrator Erica Dorn, whose playful abstract artwork draws on historic New Year fire rituals from around the world. Her designs also show Hogmanay customs such as first footing, where the first footer traditionally brings shortbread, whisky and coal. Shortbread is a prominent flavour in the whisky.
