The Macallan A Night On Earth (70cl, 43%)

A limited edition single malt from Macallan, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It is a seasonal release that tells the story of Hogmanay, the New Year celebrations held in Scotland on 31st December. It is a collaboration with the Japanese-French illustrator Erica Dorn, whose playful abstract artwork draws on historic fire rituals of New Year celebrations around the world. The designs also show Hogmanay customs such as first footing, where the first visitor of the year traditionally brings shortbread, whisky and coal. Shortbread is also a prominent flavour in the whisky.
