A limited edition single malt from The Macallan, made in collaboration with the Chinese artist Nini Sum. It celebrates the first sunrise of the year, and the design draws on light, nature and renewal.
The whisky was matured in sherry-seasoned European and American oak casks, with a sparing share of ex-bourbon casks, and is bottled at 43%.
The nose has toasted sweet oak, caramelised marshmallows, vanilla and berry compote. The palate is rich with caramel, mellow baking spices, vanilla ice cream, stone fruits, coconut and manuka honey. The finish is sweet and fruity, with gentle spice and toasted oak.
