The Macallan Art Is the Flower is a single malt from the Tree of Life Collection, released as a limited edition at 50.4% ABV. It takes its inspiration from Charles Rennie Mackintosh and his glasswork The Spirit of the Rose, and carries no age statement.
It was matured entirely in sherry-seasoned European oak casks, selected by the Macallan Whisky Mastery Team. The colour is a deep mahogany.
On the nose there is dried fruit, polished oak, cherry and orange, with a touch of almond and dark caramel. The palate brings sweet oak, vanilla, ginger, fresh apple and tea leaves, and the finish is long and soft, with honey, flowers and fine spices.
