The Macallan Classic Cut 2022 is a limited edition Speyside single malt, bottled at 52.5% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in a combination of casks made from two wood types, bringing together European and American oak. Its whisky maker is Steven Bremner, and its colour is golden butterscotch.
The nose is a fresh medley of grapefruit, peach, apple and orange, with vanilla sponge, oak, light spice, fruit blossom and almonds. On the palate come fresh fruit, caramel, a wisp of chocolate, lemon sponge, nuts, oak and light spice. The finish is sweet and creamy with warming spice.
