Macallan Classic Cut 2022 is the sixth release in The Macallan's annual Classic Cut series. It is a single malt bottled at 52.5% ABV without chill filtration. It matured in a combination of European and American oak casks, both seasoned with sherry.
The colour is golden butterscotch. The nose is a fresh mix of grapefruit, peach, apple and orange, with vanilla cake, oak, light spice, blossom and almonds. On the palate there is rich fruit with caramel, a touch of chocolate, lemon cake, nuts, oak and light spice. The finish is sweet and creamy, with warming spice.
