The Macallan – Classic Cut 2023 Limited Edition (50.3%)

The Macallan Classic Cut 2023 is a limited edition single malt, bottled at 50.3% and golden in colour. It was created to pair the sweet lightness of earlier bourbon casks with the depth and complexity of Macallan's traditional sherry casks. The nose brings pear, elderflower, light almonds and rich vanilla. On the palate there is sweet, creamy vanilla, juicy pear, lemon zest and a touch of oak. The finish is medium in length, with sweet oak and almond biscotti. A little water, taking it down to 40%, brings the almond biscotti forward.
