The Macallan Classic Cut 2023 Release is a limited-edition Speyside single malt, bottled at a higher strength of 50.3% and presented in natural colour, in a 70cl bottle. The Classic Cut series offers a different view of the Macallan house style through annual releases at higher strengths. The extra strength gives this one added texture and depth. The nose is aromatic, with fresh pear, elderflower and light almond, then rich vanilla and soft oak. The palate is sweet and creamy, with juicy pear, almond, vanilla, gentle oak and warming spice. The finish is medium to long, with vanilla, sweet fruit and warming oak spice.
