The Macallan Classic Cut 2020 is a limited edition Highland single malt Scotch whisky, bottled at 55% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is the first release in its series to draw on the distillery's different cask types.
Whisky Maker Polly Logan combined sherry-seasoned European oak casks with ex-bourbon American oak casks. The colour is sunlit straw.
The nose is vanilla, candied orange peel and honey with sultana, raisin, fresh oak and thyme. Ginger warmth and sweet orange lead the palate, and the finish is sweet and zingy with lingering thyme.
