The Macallan Classic Cut is a single malt Scotch whisky in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 52% ABV. It is made from whisky aged in sherry seasoned European and American oak, together with ex-Bourbon casks.
The nose offers orange oil, barley sugar and milk chocolate, with caramel wafer, vanilla panna cotta and baked apple turnover. On the palate there is icing sugar sweetness with grapefruit and mandarin, followed by lemon meringue and caramelised almonds. The finish returns to grapefruit and melon, with a touch of warming oak spice.
