The Macallan Concept Number 2 is the second release in the limited-edition Concept series, a Highland single malt bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It joins music and whisky, two of the passions of Macallan Whisky Maker Steven Bremner.
The whisky was matured in a combination of sherry-seasoned American oak casks, ex-bourbon casks and Miguel Martin sherry casks.
The nose offers toffee apples, vanilla, oak spice, blackberry and pistachio. On the palate come dried apple, almond, cinnamon, toasted oak and sweet toffee.
