The Macallan Edition No. 2 is a single malt created in collaboration between Bob Dalgarno, Macallan's master whisky maker, and the three Roca brothers, co-founders of El Celler de Can Roca, a restaurant twice named best in the world. It is bottled at 48.2% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
Its character comes from seven types of oak cask sourced from four different bodegas, drawn from both European and American oak. Each of the four collaborators contributed to the blend, and the flavours were combined to reflect their personalities. It is a limited edition.
