The Macallan – Edition No. 3 Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky (70cl, 48.3%)

This is Edition No. 3 from The Macallan, a single malt in a 70cl bottle at 48.3% ABV, with no age statement. It is the latest release in an annual series of special limited bottlings. The edition is a collaboration between Macallan Master Distiller Bob Dalgarno and the master perfumer Roja Dove. The nose brings sherry, crisp apples, toffee, vanilla and fresh-cut oak. On the palate are fruit cake, orange zest, green apples, vanilla and butterscotch, with a soft, warm mouthfeel. The finish is long and spicy, with caramel, honey, green apples and a hint of florals.
