Macallan Edition No. 4 is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky, bottled at 48.4% in a 70cl bottle. It is the fourth release in the Edition range and celebrates the opening of Macallan's new distillery.
The whisky is built around the distillery's weighty house style and vatted from a chosen set of casks: refill butts and hogsheads of European and American oak, together with butts, puncheons and hogsheads from Vasmya, Diego Martin, Jose y Miguel Martin and Tevasa. Each cask type was selected to contribute to a balanced whole.
