The Macallan Harmony Collection Fresh Coconut is a Speyside single malt at 46.3% ABV, and the sixth and final release in a limited series. It is matured in sherry-seasoned American oak casks and ex-bourbon barrels. American oak naturally contains lactones, which bring coconut, vanilla and sweet oak notes.
The packaging follows the series' sustainability theme, using discarded coconut flakes and charcoal made from charred coconut shells and husks.
The nose is fresh coconut and lime zest, with lemon, orange, mango and papaya. The palate brings lime, vanilla cake and grated coconut, and the finish carries coconut and blossom honey.
