The Macallan – Harmony Collection III Amber Meadow (70cl, 44.2%)

This is a limited-edition single malt from The Macallan, released in late 2023 as the third in its Harmony Collection. It was created in collaboration with Stella and Mary McCartney, drawing on their memories of the Scottish countryside, and is bottled at 44.2% in a 70cl bottle. The collection explores sustainable packaging. Here the box and label are made from discarded meadow cuttings, with photography of The Macallan Estate by Mary McCartney. The nose offers orange and lemon zest, honeysuckle, vanilla, coconut and ripe barley fields. On the palate come rich oak, lemon, melon, scones, almond and green tea. The finish is long, sweet and complex.
