This is a single malt from The Macallan's Harmony Collection, inspired by Phoenix Honey Orchid, a tea from JING with dessert wine aromas and exotic fruit notes. It comes in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky is matured mainly in sherry seasoned American oak casks, which give fruity and floral flavours. Sherry seasoned European oak adds a roasted richness and a touch of astringency, while a small share of ex-bourbon casks brings a final sweetness that echoes the tea's dessert wine character.
