The Macallan Harmony Collection Rich Cacao is a Speyside single malt in a 70cl bottle. It was created in collaboration with the pastry chef Jordi Roca of El Celler de Can Roca and takes its inspiration from chocolate.
The whisky was matured in sherry-seasoned oak casks.
The nose combines dark chocolate, cocoa powder and roasted coffee beans with dried fruit, ginger and oak spice. The palate is velvety and full-bodied, with dark chocolate, dates, figs, honeyed malt, orange zest and warming spices. The finish is long, with dark chocolate, ginger and a dry cocoa bitterness.
