Vibrant Oak is the fourth release in The Macallan Harmony Collection, created in collaboration with Cirque du Soleil. It is a single malt bottled at 44% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
It is matured in first fill sherry-seasoned American oak casks together with refill sherry casks, chosen for the classic American oak flavours of vanilla, citrus and sweet oak.
The nose offers vanilla bean, sweet sherbet and lime zest, then pears and vanilla sponge. The palate brings vanilla panna cotta, shortbread, toasted coconut, almond brittle, apple and sweet oak. The finish is medium, sweet, with lingering vanilla.
