The Macallan Harmony Rich Cacao is a Speyside single malt bottled at 44% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is matured in European and American oak casks seasoned with sherry, and the expression is built around the character of cacao.
The colour is dark amber with golden highlights.
The nose is led by dark cacao, dark chocolate, roasted coffee and caramel, with ripe fruit, vanilla and a light touch of spice. The palate is rich, with intense cacao, dark milk chocolate, toffee and honey, balanced by candied orange, toasted nuts and gentle oak. The finish is long and warm, with lingering cacao and sweet spice.
