The Macallan – M Decanter 1824 Series (70cl, 44.7%)

This is The Macallan M Decanter, a Highland single malt at the top of the distillery's 1824 Series. It is bottled at 44.7% ABV in a 70cl crystal decanter and comes boxed. M is a collaboration between creative director Fabien Baron, the crystal house Lalique and The Macallan. Baron conceived the design, Lalique made the decanter in crystal, and The Macallan supplied the whisky. The colour is rosewood. The nose combines dried fruits, vanilla and green apple with ginger, nutmeg, cinnamon, polished oak and resinous, juicy orange. The palate is rich in wood spices with drifts of wood smoke, and raisin and sultana lead a long, full finish.
