The Macallan – Rare Cask 2023 (70cl)

The 2023 release of Rare Cask from The Macallan, a Highland single malt Scotch whisky in a 70cl bottle. It was bottled and released in 2023. Only 1% of the casks at Macallan qualify to be bottled as Rare Cask. This one is a combination of mainly sherry seasoned casks. The nose brings sherry aromas of dried fruit, raisins and chocolate. The palate follows, with dried fruit, spice, chocolate and raisins. The finish is long, with leather and citrus.
