The 2024 release of The Macallan Rare Cask is a Speyside single malt in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 43% and presented in its natural colour.
It is made from a selection of sherry-seasoned oak casks, chosen for the deep colour and intense flavour that Rare Cask is known for.
The nose is rich, with vanilla, raisin, fresh apple, lemon and orange, and warming spice. On the palate, raisin sweetness sits alongside vanilla, dark chocolate and a little citrus zest, with mature oak behind. The finish is long and velvety, with dried fruit, chocolate and spice.
